TESTIMONIALS

“As a good Permie I like to increase the biodiversity on the farm and have no desire to waste energy killing so-called ‘weeds’ if I don’t need to. This book was a revelation, to find that many plants growing naturally on my place and the surrounding area are actually edible and often nutritious as well.

“The colour pictures make it easy to identify them correctly, preventing mistakes being made. Congratulations on producing a long-needed guide for using plants that are often misrepresented in our environment.”

'After doing a little research and reading Doris Pozzi's booklet on weeds, I was surprised by the high level of nutrients in many wild edibles (aka weeds) and I was keen to give them a try.  But being a bit cautious, I was reluctant to take that first bite.

So I rang Doris and organized a "weed walk".
Doris came to my home with a sample tray of weeds and we discussed the of 6-8 common weeds she had with her.

We walked around my home and then drove to a parkland nearby & she helped me identify the weeds I had easy access to.  It was very informative.  I am now a "confident weed eater" and use them regularly in my salads and green smoothies.' - P.Smith (Burwood)
